I Love you to the Moon and Back

One blogger made a very interesting topic, The Dilemma With The Phrase, ‘I Love You To The Moon And Back’ by Lucy Wickham.

The blogger started questioning “Why the moon? Why not the sun? Why not some planet such as Pluto or Mars?”

I stop right there and think... is this a valid question? I start to ponder, yes why the moon? The answer is easy. The farthest humans have physically traveled from Earth is the Moon and made a successful comeback alive!

If you replace the moon with the sun, “I love you to the sun and back”, sounds like an empty promise. There’s no way you can make it to the sun and back without being bbq-ed!

How about Pluto or Mars? Mars is the closest replacement to the moon, but not until 2030+ as per NASA. That’s the plan but no exact date yet people on when they will set foot on Mars. Until then, the Moon is still valid.
*Next topic: What is the distance to the moon and back? Let’s calculate if your declaration of love has a strong guarantee by using this phrase ‘ I Love You To The Moon And Back’ Will it be enough to last a lifetime? Or fall short a thousand miles? We will see...

Ciao!

Ang Sapatos!

shoodle
1. Ang una daw napapansin sa suot ng isang tao ay ang sapatos,
kaya naman importante na maayos ang sapin sa paa.

2. "Even if you're fat, one thing always fits: SHOES"- Mimi Pond
Pag tumaba ka ba nagbabago size ng sapatos? Parang hindi nga ano?

3. " We all walk in different shoes"- Kenneth Cole:
Tama! With the exemption of nanghiram ka ng sapatos ng iba.

4. It's better to buy one good pair of shoes than four cheap ones - Cary Grant
Hindi rin, kung isa lang sapatos mo in different ocassions, sablay di ba?

This latest doodle is a tribute to my 13 pairs of cheap shoes!
