Halos lagpas dalawang buwan na ko na wala sa Pinas. 2 months and 7 days to be exact. Ang bilis lang... di mo mamamalayan na nasa Pinas na uli ako at patambay-tambay sa mga kapehan sa tabi-tabi. Matagal pa yon, kaya wag masyadong excited lol!
Nga pala, I just want to share to you guys my journey to Ras Al Khaimah. Let's check the map of Mr. Google and find out where on earth is this place.
Ras al-Khaimah (alternatively Ra'sal-Khaymah; Arabic: رأس الخيمة Rā's al Ḫaima) is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the east side of the Persian Gulf. Its name means "Top of the Tent". The emirate is in the northern part of the UAE, bordering Oman's exclave ofMusandam. It covers an area of 1,700 square km. The capital city and home of most residents is also called Ras al-Khaimah. The city has a population of 263,217 as of 2008. The city has two main sections, Old Ras al-Khaimah and Nakheel, on either side of a creek. It is served by theRas al-Khaimah International Airport. It consists of a northern part (where the city of Ras al-Khaimah is situated), a large exclave in the south (nearHatta), and a few small islands in the Persian Gulf.
As you can see in the map, Sharjah is where my accomodation and our project is, and Dubai naman is our head office. Since Sharjah is too close to Dubai and the cost of living in Sharjah is low compared to Dubai, Sharjah has been dubbed as Dubai's Bedroom. Why? Most people working in Dubai lives in Sharjah for an obvious reasons. Gets?
At bakit naman ako napapunta ng Ras Al Khaimah, which is a little bit far from where I live and where my workplace is? Dahil ako po ay isang galaero! (Fact) Nope, may isa pa po kaming project doon na kailangang i -ocular visit (truth).
And as the title of this post suggest, I want to share with you all the photos I took along the road to Ras Al Khaimah. Pasensya na sa mga shots dahil most of the photos were taken inside a moving car.
