Backpack Series: Planet Shakers

First time na makasama ko ang aking bagong backpack sa isang concert. And my backpack never fails to serves its purpose pagdating sa mga ganitong lakad. Ipad - check! 1000DGcam - check! Battery pack -check! Charger - check! Extra Memory card - check! And our tickets - isang malaking check! Yan ang karga ni pareng backpack papuntang Araneta Coliseum. And we are blessed to have a seats on the VIP. Row O seat 1 & 2. (I was with my nephew)

Since the first concert of Planet Shakers happens here in Manila, in 2009, I was able to make it a yearly event. This is my third to be exact. 2010 was with Hillsongs I think.

Unusual ang haba ng pila sa Araneta coz the other gate was under constructions or renovation yata. So nagtyaga kaming pumila together with other Christians from different parts of Manila and other nearby provinces. Puro kami mga kabataan na nakapila. What do you expect? This group (Planet Shakers) is an Australian Rock and Worship Christian Band. Gone are the days that only adults and matured Christians are active in praise and worship. This is the new generation of Christian youth that someday will become leaders of their respective churches. Some are still not into this kind of worship, rather they prefer a more conservative way. Well, I respect both sides, as long as both ways are for God's Glory.

The concert was a double treat actually, because another equally talented Christian Group was with them. Israel Houghton and New Breed.

Israel Houghton (pronounced, hoh’-tin) (born May 19, 1971) is an American Christian singer and worship leader, mostly known for his cross-cultural style of Christian music that fuses elements from gospel, jazz and rock. Houghton is usually credited as Israel & New Breed and currently signed to Integrity Music. Houghton is a worship leader at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. "All Around" is on the Digital Praise PC game Guitar Praise.
